In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing Candy Girl by New Edition as a really little kid and trying to sing like Ralph Tresvant and dance like Ronnie, Ricky, Bobby and Mike.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 112, 112 Boyz II Men, 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Boyz II Men Jodeci, Back to the Future - The Very Best of Jodeci Edited Version CooleyHighHarmony - Olympic Level Vocals on Hip Hop beats -the melodies and phrasing! Diary of a Mad Band by Jodeci - Song production, lyrical dexterity and vocals. 112 - That first album had everything, ballads, uptempo's, high production values.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You're That Kind of Girl (feat. M.C. Brains) (Jimmy Antony Remix)” My first ever UK Top 40 single. I always wanted to have a New Jack Swing song and Jimmy Anthony and MC Brains came through and elevated the project and song. It's still my biggest song to this day.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting an official UK Top 40 album. Took me by surprise. I wanted to put out a 'no skip' uptempo album and we achieved that and the success which followed was a blessing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Another Top 40 UK album. Once you have a taste of mainstream success, you will chase it continuously.
