An adventurous bassist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Billy Mohler is known for his own modern creative jazz albums, as well as his genre-bending work as a member of the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. As a studio and session player, Mohler has worked with an array of artists, including Kelly Clarkson, Nile Rodgers, Liz Phair, Lady Gaga, and others. He collaborated with Smashing Pumpkins drummer Chamberlin for 2005's Life Begins Again, 2017's The Parable, and 2020's Honor. He also leads his own group with saxophonist Chris Speed and Kneebody members Shane Endsley (trumpet) and Nate Wood (drums). They released 2019's Focus and 2022's Anatomy.
Billy Mohler has also released music as a member of AWOLNATION, The Calling, Abandoned Pools, Pom Poms, War Tapes, and Jimmy Chamberlin Complex.
