Before teaming up in Big & Rich, Big Kenny was a solo artist, and John Rich was the second lead singer of Lonestar.
∙ The duo earned a record deal after their performances at weekly Nashville gathering “MuzikMafia nights” caught the ear of producer Paul Worley.
∙ Their debut album, 2004’s Horse of a Different Color, topped the Country charts and featured four hits, including “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).”
∙ Big & Rich have been nominated for two Grammy Awards (Best Country Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group)—for “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Comin’ to Your City.”
