Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was around 4 years old, my father took me to one of his band practices. This wasn't the first time but it was the most memorable because he allowed me to play on the electric guitar after they wrapped up.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, Take Care (Deluxe Version) J. Cole, Born Sinner Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak These three albums helped me define what type of artist I wanted to be. The amount of vulnerability that was encapsulated in these albums showed me it was cool to express your true feelings while also making amazing music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hny Lstr” This was the first song I released after coming off of a music hiatus. I was in a vulnerable point in my life where I was confusing love with lust and my feelings were hurt from my own lack of awareness of the situation.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I performed at the TLA. This is one of the biggest venues in my hometown and it's honestly a right of passage as a musician from Philadelphia to perform there. It was one of my proudest and most memorable moments.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still have yet to crowd surf so I need to do that at one of my shows immediately.
