Artist Biography
Benét's slinky indie soul draws from classic soul, introspective rap, and modern bedroom pop in songs about relationships and pop culture. Buzz from their 2020 debut single, "Funny" featuring Teddy Meanface, led to a record deal with Brooklyn-based Bayonet Records, which helped push their play counts into the millions with a follow-up version of "Funny" featuring Childish Major. That and debut EP Game Over! set the stage for Benét's first album, 2023's Can I go again?
