Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I only remember as far back as singing 'Don't Tell Mama' from Cabaret as a child, but as a toddler I'm told it was actually singing 'Beds Are Burning' by Midnight Oil. Neither of my parents are artists, but mum took me to singing and dancing lessons.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kylie Minogue, Fever Deluxe Edition PJ Harvey, Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mosquito (Deluxe Edition) 'Mosquito' holds a lot of memories. I was living in this tree house and found this electric guitar & drum kit. Learned the whole album. PJ Harvey's 'Good Fortune' is badass, I love playing it on guitar, so empowering. 'Fever' because the HITS darls!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Thing About Us” My tiny nephew sings it to me and always feels like home. It's also the first song I ever released on my own. I've released around 30 songs in bands / as features but this was my first solo release AND ah I nearly forgot, it was for Home and Away!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I will never forget Amsterdam Pride last year. There were pyrotechnics and I dancers and my guitar and we were throwing out shirts, and the crowd was singing, ahh, the stage was 10 foot off the ground!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Anything else? Hunni I'm just getting started, EVERYTHING ELSE! My goal is to have a hit, a 'Murder On The Dance Floor', a 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' (I won't continue with all the hits), I want to do that, everything else is just the cherry on top.
