About BBMAK
Artist Biography
British pop trio BBMak, unlike many of their teen-friendly peers, play their own instruments and write and produce most of their music, as well. After recording a demo, BBMak camped outside the headquarters of major labels and performed on the street. A few gigs later, BBMak was the focus of a bidding war and the group soon secured a deal. Their debut single, "Back Here," was a hit in the U.K. and Japan, paving the way for their debut album, Sooner or Later, which was released in the U.S. in spring 2000 by Hollywood Records. Two years later, the trio returned with the glossy pop sounds of Into Your Head. ~ Heather Phares
