Artist Biography
A lead vocalist in the boy band EXO, BAEKHYUN has a soulful style that’s made him one of the most prominent singers in South Korea.
• BAEKHYUN’s 2019 debut solo EP, City Lights, featured the groovy single “UN Village,” named after a neighborhood in Seoul. His 2020 sophomore EP, Delight, had more of a bubblegum sound, as heard on the single “Candy.”
• Known for his sweet tone, BAEKHYUN is a sought-after collaborator. “Dream,” his jazzy duet with singer-actor Suzy, was one of South Korea’s biggest hits in 2016.
• In 2019, BAEKHYUN joined the group SuperM, featuring members from across SM Entertainment’s roster of boy bands. Led by the high-energy, meme-generating single “Jopping,” SuperM’s self-titled debut EP opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
