Bay Area rapper B-Legit debuted in the early 1990s with a hardcore style that he has carried through decades of solo releases, collaborative efforts, and mixtapes. He and his cousin E-40 were frequent collaborators from their early days together in '90s group the Click on through to 2018's Billboard-charting album Connected & Respected. His 2021 single "Baymona" was a collaboration with Sho Biz and Butch Cassidy.
B-Legit has also released music as a member of The Click.
