Axwell & Ingrosso are a pop-leaning DJ duo born from the ashes of the EDM supergroup Swedish House Mafia.
• Having worked as solo DJs and producers since the ’90s, Axel Hedfors (aka Axwell) and Sebastian Ingrosso first collaborated on the 2005 single “Together.”
• Along with fellow Swedish producer Steve Angello, Axwell and Ingrosso formed Swedish House Mafia in 2008.
• Swedish House Mafia disbanded in 2013 after scoring two Grammy nominations, notching numerous radio hits, and helping to make EDM an international sensation. Angello went one way, while Axwell and Ingrosso paired up to make electro-pop hits.
• The duo made its live debut in June 2014 at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City.
• Axwell & Ingrosso’s 2017 debut album, More Than You Know, paired neon pop sing-alongs with bombastic builds and big-room synths. The LP represents one of the last major triumphs of the EDM era.
• When Swedish House Mafia regrouped for live shows in 2018, Axwell & Ingrosso went on hiatus.
