In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The most memorable concert in my life was the presentation of my band. I remember those feelings when you're standing on the stage, singing your music, feeling every single note, and looking at the audience that is totally in love.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cécile McLorin Salvant, The Window Esperanza Spalding, Esperanza Robert Glasper Experiment, Black Radio For me, it's the hardest - to choose 3 favorite albums. I like Esperanza Spalding, because thanks to her I saw that jazz can sound different. With "Black Radio" I like the experimental sound and style. "The Window" is just medicine for your soul.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Вночі (Live)” This song is special to me because it's my first release and the beginning of my artistic life. It's about a girl, who fell in love and lost herself because of that. She just went for her feelings... and, unfortunately, was completely wrong.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable and hard moment is my moving from Ukraine to Portugal, because of the war. I almost gave up, but at the same time, I had a feeling that I want to fight and I want my music to be heard. So I'm continuing.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? With my project, I want to show people something about my roots, and also show them the beautiful Ukrainian language. I'm not a folk singer and mostly everything that I do is modern jazz, but I like to add something unusual and authentic to my music.
