Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember borrowing my older sisters CD player, along with her Lil Bow Wow albums. I listened to Lil Bow Wow for an entire Summer, when I was like 10! That was probably my first time choosing to listen to music on my own.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Guero Esperanza Spalding, Emily's D+Evolution Love, Forever Changes (Remastered) These albums and others like them, blend, bend, and mix elements from various musical origins. I feel like these artist use their musical background and their influences in ways that birth new styles within themselves. They are important to me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “More Than We Should” This is one of my favorite songs to have written and composed. It tells a fictional story about being abducted by aliens while also tripping at a party. Who will believe you? Can you even believe it?!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing 3 full length albums. It means a lot to me to be able to have the time, and resources to write, compose and record that much music. I don't take it for granted.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? More music that comes from living life, and life that's lived for more music. It's breath.
