Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first musical memories happened to be when I stole a ripped DVD from my older brother, which happened to be Britney Spears live in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii early 2000. I studied the whole show word for word and move for move.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fergie, The Dutchess (Deluxe) Rihanna, A Girl Like Me The Pussycat Dolls, PCD Coming from a dance background, and prior to singing, 'PCD' by the Pussycat Dolls was an album on repeat. My poor mother sat through countless renditions of 'Buttons', which looking back was an interesting choice.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Middle Fingers” No question. At the time of writing this, I had so much pent up anger and no outlet as I was always conditioned to not express those emotions. This song was the first time it felt like songwriting was truly therapeutic.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first show and every show after has been unforgettable. Creating music is powerful but nothing compares to singing face to face with someone. That moment of connection is unexplainable. It feels real. It feels like magic.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Performing with a legend would be a dream. Getting to do what I love most alongside someone I admire would be incredible. Sharing the stage with someone iconic takes the magic of performing to another level.
