Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother would play me The Dark Side of the Moon when I was very young. The intro "Speak to Me" terrified me but always left me in a state of wonder. I try to create that same feeling when writing music for Arkavello. - John

Devin Townsend Project, Epicloud Everything Everything, Get To Heaven Deluxe Radiohead, OK Computer If you combined these 3 albums you would get the genesis of what makes Arkavello. The mix of apocalyptic and hopeful lyrics, giant soundscapes and timeless production is something we always come back to when searching for inspiration.

Tell us why you chose this song. “Data Paralysis” The song blends a futuristic soundscape with lyrics that reflect the struggle of navigating through an endless stream of data, highlighting themes of the Backrooms, the King in Yellow, confusion, and the desire to disconnect.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Seeing the ongoing success of our song "Home Sweet Home". That gave us the confidence to keep pushing ourselves when trying to navigate and succeed in the digital age of music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Perform at the Glastonbury Festival in England. To share the stage with such amazing artists would be a dream come true.
