In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was five years old when my mother surprised me with a little 32-key keyboard that she got from a trip to Chennai. I remember being extremely happy. She also found a tutor so that I could learn how to play it.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, A Head Full of Dreams Damien Rice, O Prateek Kuhad, The Way That Lovers Do Coldplay is a source of inspiration for many aspiring songwriters including myself and Damien Rice is is my personal inspiration. Prateek Kuhad has opened up a doorway for Indian independent singer-songwriters and created a masterpiece.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kabootar” This is a song I wrote during 2020 after being tired of all the sad songs I'd been writing. I wrote a happy song and it became an instant favourite of everyone who heard it including musicians like Armaan Malik and Lisa Mishra.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Not only did I get to open for Lucky Ali's concert in over 10 cities, I also spend quality time with him and learn a lot. One of my favourite moment was when he said he was in love with some of my songs.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to collaborate with some of the incredibly talented songwriters around me.
