About Anna Leone

Artist Biography

Anna Leone is a Swedish singer and songwriter who brings a quiet soulfulness and melancholy temper to her songs. Raised in suburban Stockholm, Sweden on records by the likes of Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, and Cat Stevens, she emerged with her debut single in September 2017. Featuring atmospheric keys and acoustic guitar, the ballad "My Soul I" was produced by Bryan Wilson (Sofi Tukker, Stormzy) and released on the Paris-based label Half Awake. "I Never Really" followed two months later, and both songs appeared on Leone's heartbreak-themed debut EP, Wandered Away, issued in April 2018. ~ Marcy Donelson
