Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
One of my earliest musical memories is playing sofa drums with the seat cushions for low end and the burgundy encyclopedia as a snare. I'd jam along to Grace Thrillers and Andrae Crouch records. Fun fact: my mom actually named me after the latter.

D'Angelo, Voodoo
Marvin Gaye, Here, My Dear
I chose theses three albums because they're timeless. There's a soulfulness in them that transcends genre and era. They heavily influence my music.

“Vacations in the Nude (feat. Brooklish)”
I love all my songs! However, this one hits a little different because I was able to be (simultaneously)sexually explicit and poetic, without being crude. Plus, it's super funky!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far?
This would be my first ever live show, as an artist, at Nublu, NYC. It was an indescribable feeling of exhilaration! Casey Benjamin sat in on the opening set. He gave me some encouraging words after the show that will remain with me always.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band?
Absolutely! I want to produce a D'Angelo record in the worst way! I want to work in some capacity with all my idols. Bilal, Saadiq, Andre 3000, Van Hunt, Solange, Thundercat, Lauryn Hill, Jay Z, Kendrick, Beyonce... I can go on! I'm speaking it.
