In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was trained in classical music, and my first pop recording was Sgt Pepper's. At that time I fell in love with a girl so deep that I could not have any words for it, and the Beatles lyrics for that album paved the way. Special album since then.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, TRON: Legacy Garbage, Version 2.0 (20th Anniversary Edition) 2018 Remaster Riverside, Memories in My Head Garbage dominated my transition into samples and exquisite production. Riverside provided me the intimacy and love for long songs. And Daft Punk gave me the soundtrack of my life. All three are the pillars of what I do every day of my life.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Throw Me To the Wolves” I fell in love with soundtracking back in the day, humming imaginary tunes to existing moving pictures. This is the soundtrack of a remarkable book, and I even designed the front cover to mimic the book — pure love from the heart, right into music.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Despite I have a voice very suitable for radio and podcasting, almost all my music is instrumental. However, I sang a rendition of La Vie En Rose for a small intimate audience at a special camp for people with delicate illnesses... that's my top 1.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to meet someone, one day, who tells me that any of my music has been the soundtrack for a special moment in their lives. That's what I call leaving a better world that the one you found.
