A prodigy who attained wide success in her teens and early twenties, violinist Alina Ibragimova has been especially visible as a chamber music player. With pianist Cédric Tiberghien, she has recorded well-regarded cycles of Mozart's and Beethoven's violin-and-piano sonatas. Since her selection as a BBC New Generation Artist from 2005 to 2007, she has been widely heard as a soloist and chamber player. Ibragimova released her debut album of works by Karl Amadeus Hartmann in 2007. In 2021, she recorded Paganini's 24 Caprices and released an album of Mendelssohn's complete violin sonatas in 2022.
Alina Ibragimova has also released music as a member of Chiaroscuro Quartet.
