Cancún-based, producer, singer, and songwriter Alex Luna is part of a new generation of Mexican pop artists whose hybrid style is clearly indebted to the contemporary sounds of urban and EDM, but with a much more introspective, conflicted lyrical outlook. After posting his first single, "Baílame," in 2020 when he was only 19, Luna achieved massive recognition one year later with "Te Marqué Pedo," a collaboration with Daaz that topped the global streaming charts and spawned a 2022 remix featuring Christian Nodal. He released his first EP, Introspección, in 2023. His debut album Futuralgia arrived in early 2025.
