Alternative singer/songwriter Alemeda writes breezy rockers inspired by pop-punk, confessional acoustic ballads, and aching ballads that evoke 2-step U.K. garage, among other types of songs, all with a naturally heartfelt approach. The Sudanese-Ethiopian-American artist made her independent commercial debut in 2021, the year she went viral with "Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows." Signed to Top Dawg Entertainment on the strength of that exposure and additional singles such as "Post Nut Clarity," she issued FK IT, her debut EP, in 2024.
