Alba Reche is a Spanish singer and songwriter who first achieved mainstream popularity after she appeared on Operación Triunfo, the country's foremost talent show. Born in Elche in 1998, the self-avowed fan of Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera made a stellar showing on the show in 2018, eventually finishing as a runner-up. A compilation of her show performances and Quimera, her first album of original material, reached the number one spot in Spain in 2019. Subsequently, Reche concentrated her efforts in casting off her talent show credentials and developing a credible reputation as an independent voice through a myriad of singles, tours, and collaborations (Cruz Cafuné, Sebastián Cortés, Cami, Fuel Fandango), as well as the EP La Pequeña Semilla (2021). It was followed one year later by Honestamente Triste, an album that combined several singles released throughout 2022. Reche's third effort, 2025's No Soy Tu Hombre, blended folk and electronica while assuming a more confessional tone.
