Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 12 years old I snuck backstage at a Teena Marie concert in Philadelphia at the Liacouras Center. Got to meet her. She was impressed that I was so young but knew all of her music. She gave me her number and became like a fairy godmother!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aaliyah, I Care 4 U Frank Ocean, channel ORANGE Michael Jackson, Thriller "Thriller", a masterclass from the best! Study it for format, backing vocals, prod., or even just to hear some good $h*t. "Channel ORANGE" = when avant garde is so good that it changes the entire system as we know it. "I Care 4 U" = A SONIC BLESSING

It has a real recording of my grandma trying to get me to leave Los Angeles. She couldn't get why I wouldn't just go back home and get a job rather than struggle to live my dream as a singer. So raw, so pure, and just the real me.
