In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was a hip-hop / R&B guy until I first heard Metallica's Justice for All Album in my early 20s and I have been a metal head ever since. I also have a deep appreciation for electronic and techno music. Recently I've come back to hip hop music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Busta Rhymes, Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front CoLD SToRAGE, SlipStream Volume One Fear Factory, Mechanize These are 3 albums that deeply impacted me as a musician. They each still sound just as fresh as the day that I heard them.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Consume Obey (feat. Marcus Matkins & Chad Feacher)” This is one of the very first songs that I ever wrote. I had spent a decade chasing the corporate dream only to get burnt out in the end. This song captures all of my feelings when I was at the breaking point.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable thing that I've done so far was perform at a venue in New York City with my other band, Pilot Jonezz. I'm a small town guy so the energy, size and history of that city was just so unreal and the crowd made it worth the trip.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The coolest thing I can think of is playing onstage with one of my heroes like, Lenny Kravtiz, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten or Tosin Abasi. After that you couldn't tell me nothing.
