Anna Abreu was of both Finnish and Portuguese heritage, which went a long way in explaining her varied musical tastes. Although Abreu only won runner-up in Finland's television reality talent show Finnish Pop Idol, she managed to break the Top Ten with her debut single and storm to the top of the charts with her first album, which stayed in the Top 20 for a number of weeks. Abreu was also known for being the voice of Rod Flanders in the Finnish release of The Simpsons Movie. ~ Chris True
