A reverent, rocking soul whose education ran concurrently in music and religion, Aaron Shust creates impassioned devotional songs which don't skimp on the alt-rock power. Studied in music theory, and no stranger to the pulpit, the singer-songwriter stalked coffeehouses until his reputation propelled him to major player on the Christian rock scene. His compositions split the difference between Creed's driving rock and Coldplay's gilded pomp-and-circumstance-happy piano pop.
