Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A Is A is a Chicago-based alternative rock band formed by guitarist Jimmy Brennan and vocalist Monika Jedrzejek. The band started in 2014 when the duo started playing around Chicago as a acoustic duet.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Blondie, Parallel Lines Patti Smith Group, Easter Pretenders, Pretenders I think these artist we get compared to the most. Monika's vocals fall along the lines of Chrissie Hyde and Patti Smith. The music touches more on Blondie and Pretenders.

BUT Already Gone was recorded with a lot of my own gear & mixed by our good friend, five-time Grammy Award winner Joel McCarthy.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? From 2014 to 2020, A Is A energized Chicago’s local live music scene . Now reunited in 2025, the duo is back with fresh energy and new music on the horizon
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to complete 1 full Vinyl album before I'm done.
