Artist Biography
Alternative electronic trio 888 formed in 2015 from the pieces of former hardcore band Drop Dead, Gorgeous (whose run lasted from 2004 to 2011). The Denver, Colorado group -- comprising vocalist Danny Stillman, keyboardist/programmer Aaron Rothe, and drummer Danny Cooper -- crafted a combination of emo vocals and rhythmic dance grooves similar to Breathe Carolina or 3OH!3. They self-produced their debut EP, The Decades, which featured the track "Critical Mistakes." After winning local Denver competitions and building a buzz with American radio airplay, 888 returned in 2017 with the single "Older Now." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
