Rapper 6 Dogs achieved internet fame in the late 2010s with a series of melodic songs about depression, suicide, and other heavy topics.
• The Georgia native grew up in a strict Christian household. He secretly started rapping as a teenager, hiding his music from his mother.
• 6 Dogs started uploading songs to SoundCloud in 2016. He went viral with “Flossing”—the second song he ever recorded—when he was 17.
• His 2017 single “Faygo Dreams” racked up hundreds of millions of streams. He claims to have written the lyrics in five minutes.
• In 2018, 6 Dogs released the EP 6 Wolves. A full-length titled Hi-Hats & Heartaches arrived the following year.
