Melbourne collective 30/70 have been exploring a mix of soul, jazz, funk, hip-hop, and broken beat since the mid-2010s. Well received in their home country, they've also cultivated a particularly strong following in England thanks to support from the likes of the Rhythm Section International label and BBC DJs Gilles Peterson and Tom Ravenscroft. Their studio work includes Cold Radish Coma (2015), Elevate (2017), and Fluid Motion (2019), albums distinguished by the intricate interplay of up to 11 musicians including zestful and poetic vocalist Allysha Joy.
