Artist Biography
Known for their throbbing, oversaturated productions, 2KE's bombastic take on Brazilian phonk keeps the club floors and speakers pulsing. After the Dutch artist emerged in the early 2020s with more restrained releases like 2021's "Hypnosis" and 2022's percussive "MMXXII," they grew increasingly more assertive on collaborations with SAIRO and dxnisvn, and 2023's "BUM BUM SHAKATAKA" embraced a more hip-shaking, bass-rattling sound that was collected on the mid-2023 album BRAZILIAN PHONK MANA. 2KE went viral to the tune of over a hundred million streams with the explosive "X-SLIDE" in mid-2024; its "ultra slowed" version reached number six on the Billboard TikTok Top 50. By that October, they'd followed it with three installments of the HIIT EP series as well as the remix album HIIT (REMIXES).
