“There’s a real euphoric energy running through this mix, starting with my latest release ‘Serenity’—a track I produced that leans into my more melodic side,” Amelie Lens tells Apple Music of this July 2025 mix. “Its flip, ‘Club of Extremes,’ which I’ve featured in previous Apple Music mixes, represents the tougher, raw techno sound I’m best known for.” The Belgian DJ/producer oscillates along the spectrum for this edition of her mix series, taking every measure of the pulse in the techno realm. “There’s also a special unreleased remix I did for Anyma,” Lens says, reflecting enthusiastically about her guest appearance alongside the headline DJ at his Sphere residency in Las Vegas. “One of the big highlights this month is the Portex remix of Emmanuel Top’s ‘Acid Phase.’ It blows my mind [that] the original of this dropped back in 1994 and still sounds ahead of its time, but this new version updates it beautifully without losing any of its emotion or intensity.
