Bino Rideaux’s SORRY 4 THA WAIT II arrived in 2022, just a year after Sixtape 2. It wasn’t that long a wait at all, but nevertheless, the LA rapper felt compelled to apologize. On 2025’s Tha Language, which ends the longest gap between full-lengths since he started dropping music in 2017, he feels no compulsion to atone for the delay. He hits the gas immediately, like a sprinter galloping off the blocks, insisting on “Intro” that complaints of his speed on the mic are misguided; he doesn’t rap too fast—the haters just listen too slow. This aggressive energy informs the entire project, even when he’s switching up his style so his opps can hear him loud and clear. Take “Rollin’,” a short, melodic cut that nearly drowns in Rideaux’s narcotized flow. “Jamaica Pt. 2” is equally delirious, interpolating some of the vocal experiments popular in other regional scenes, specifically Atlanta’s.
