PlaqueBoyMax, internet sensation turned rap personality, arrived fully formed in March 2025 with the release of the LONDON EP. With assists from Nemzzz, Skepta, Lancey Foux, and more, the New Jersey-born artist used his debut to showcase his aesthetic vision and ability to attract a wide swath of top-tier guests. Just two months later, PlaqueBoy set his sights on an American rap mecca, Atlanta. The aptly titled ATLANTA EP reiterates the curator’s pull in the industry, boasting a who’s who of featured artists, including Quavo, Flo Milli, and LAZER DIM 700. Despite Max being relatively green in the rap space, he’s more than comfortable creating these worlds in which other rappers have plenty of room to thrive. He brought his pioneering livestream recording techniques to the project, making the entire EP in a marathon seven-day sprint at the city’s world-famous Means Street Studios. Though PlaqueBoyMax floats atop ATLANTA as more of a guiding force than a singular voice, his power lies in his willingness to let others steal the show.
