As a decentralized, 24-member girl group, K-pop squad tripleS only comes together in their full form every so often. Many of the multinational group’s releases come in the form of subunit songs, such as Acid Angel from Asia’s “Generation” or LOVElution’s “Girls’ Capitalism.” ASSEMBLE25 marks the second time tripleS paused their subunit activities to gather as a full group. Dreamy dance track lead single “Are You Alive” picks up where 2024 hit “Girls Never Die” left off, layering the many members’ vocals into a lush, hopeful expression of persevering despite darkness: “Let's just run away/So no one can find us/Into the thicket of dreams/Hiding my small self.”
