Not two months after emerging with his own sterling solo album, Paid N Full, in February 2025, OhGeesy got the band back together (well, some of it) for a Shoreline Mafia reunion. Back in Bidness tells the story in its title with Geesy and his Shoreline brother Fenix Flexin once again, trading verses like it’s 2020 with their same nonchalant portrayal of West Coast cool. The shit-talking begins from track one, the title cut, which features a bouncy bassline and handclaps that hearken back to an earlier era of LA rap. The duo’s chemistry didn’t accrue any rust during their hiatus, as they work off each other like pick-and-roll assassins on the basketball court. Most impressively, Geesy and Fenix keep things entirely in the crew, eschewing any guest features in favor of a coherent, front-to-back welcome-home party for Shoreline Mafia.
