Detroit mainstay Icewear Vezzo continues his twice-yearly check-in from his hometown with the second 2024 installment of his Live from the 6 series. Vezzo, one of Motor City’s most reliable street preachers, does his best work when he’s ad-libbing about his life, touching on the things that get him juiced up, and denouncing all the roadblocks in between him and another million. On Part Two, he wastes no time outlining his philosophy, cueing up an ominous piano-led beat on first song “Musty.” He doesn’t like banks and is staying away from the hood because it’s running too hot. True wealth means you don’t have to count your money, and though he spends plenty of time on boats these days, he’s still from the dirt.
