Full of deceptively edgy roots pop and distinguished by Rosenberg's boy-next-door crooning, All the Little Lights is an irresistibly saccharine collection livened up by skipping percussion, sunny horns, and warm acoustic guitars. For all its pep, though, the album's not without bite. Rosenberg's lyrics feature the occasional f-bomb, and he's not afraid to speak his mind about the shallowness of The X Factor.
