Following on from his turn on scene snapshot New Gen, here, the erstwhile Taylor Harris spits and even sings (see the rock-tinged “Notebook”) with real fire in his belly. Bar the occasional shaft of light—R&B Loick Essien hook-up “Greenlight”—this is a dark, unflinching, and intensely focussed step up.
