Composer duo Ajay-Atul arrange a breathtaking ensemble of orchestral sounds for the melodramatic Zero. Abhay Jodhpurkar sings evocatively amidst the soaring filmi arrangements of “Mere Naam Tu”, while Kunal Ganjawala adds to the thumping “Ann Bann”. Sukhwinder Singh croons soulfully on “Issaqbaazi”, and Raja Kumari and Romy up the ante with club-friendly tracks “Husn Parcham” and “Heer Badnaam”. One of Zero’s best songs, “Tanha Hua”, is a spotlight for the late, legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
