Meanwhile, John Coltrane's deft sax showcase turns "Blues By Five" into a swaggering workout. Completing the lineup, Philly Joe Jones's rattling drumming and Paul Chambers' relentless, pulsing bass riffs underscore the hazy and mystical "Airegin."
