Arguably the best track in "Kala", with its distinctive sampling of firing guns and cash machines, "Paper Planes" will be finally lifted as a single, right on time for M.I.A's British mini-tour. Diplo was called back for a remix that adds some new verses, provided by Bun B and Rich Boy, to the song's initial hook from The Clash's "Straight To Hell"; while Esau Mwamwaya's surprising take reshapes it into a African anthem. More multicultural surprises are to come. In the meantime, expect to see the track appearing well ranked in many end of the year lists.  shazam
